In order to optimize our collaboration, Platform Export Certificates Semen (PECS) operates as a platform uniting AI organizations that produce and process bovine semen in the Netherlands for artificial insemination. Through PECS Dutch AI organizations are in continuous dialogue with the Dutch government on topics regarding current and adjusted (veterinary) import health requirements that are necessary to uphold or gain international market access.
At PECS we recognize and appreciate the importance of upholding and strengthening the collaboration with our international relations. Through PECS our members facilitate market access to achieve worldwide export of our locally produced high-quality product.
Our members advocate the importance of top-notch specific pathogen free bovine semen that meets all veterinary requirements. The semen for our straws is produced and processed according to strict EU regulation, as well as complying to any national and additional company specific requirements. All Dutch AI organizations are approved by the Dutch government (list NVWA) and comply with all EU requirements (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/686) as well as fulfilling the requirements of additional national legislation.
